MASC 2025 Accommodation

We strongly recommend booking accommodation in Milton Keynes early as December is a popular time for visiting the city for Christmas and other holiday festivities. A few suggestions are provided below, with approximate distances to the Open University Campus, for your convenience.

Accommodation near campus

Kents Hill – https://www.kentshillpark.com/accommodation

This hotel is situated on the edge of the Open University Campus. . It is within a 10 minute walk of the conference venue and has a range of facilities and amenities.

The hotel has offered delegate rates for MASC Attendees staying midweek (if you plan to stay on sunday night it might be slightly cheaper):

• Room Only: £79.00 per night
• Bed & Breakfast: £85.00 per night
• Dinner, Bed & Breakfast: £105.00 per night

This hotel is situated by the entrance to the Open University Campus. It will also be the location for the MASC banquet. It is within a 5 minute walk of the conference venue and has a range of facilities and amenities.

There are many hotels around Milton Keynes to choose from, each within easy access to public transportation. Advance booking is advised as Milton Keynes central hotels can be busy during the festive period. Below are are selection of options that the organising committee have previously used.

  This is a no-frills budget option in Milton Keynes central. It is close to public transport links to the campus and also close to the Milton Keynes restaurants, bars and shopping centre. It is best to book direct through their website as extra discounts are usually offered.

  This is a mid-range hotel. It has good amenities and food options, as well as being very close to a range of bars and restaurants. It is close to public transport links to the campus.

  This is another mid-range hotel. It also has good amenities, as well as being very close to a range of bars and restaurants. It is close to public transport links to the campus.
• Premier Inn
  There are multiple options depending on whether you want to be close the the city centre or campus, two of which are detailed here:

    This is one of the city centre Premier Inn locations with easy access to the public transport network and an adjoining bar and restaurant which also serves breakfast.
  • Premier Inn Milton Keynes South hotel (1.3 miles) – https://maps.app.goo.gl/5iWgKMLBEkDzCgRq8
    This is the closest Premier Inn to campus and is within a 30 min walk. It has an adjoining bar and restaurant which also serves breakfast.

  This is one of the more expensive hotels in Milton Keynes. It has fantastic amenities including a sky bar and leisure facilities, as well as being very close to a range of bars and restaurants. It is close to public transport links to the campus.

  This hotel is within walking distance of campus (30 mins) and has an adjoining restaurant and bar which also serves breakfast.
